Nepal Women Association's central member and Inter-party Women Network's District Secretary Kanta Chand has beaten up a woman of GuruKhola named Madhavi Bhatt. Bhatt sustained injuries on her head and different parts of her body. She is currently unable to walk because of the injury on neck and hip. She has been treated with 5 stitches. Chand reportedly beat the victim after her goat entered Chand's farm. Chand however, said that she did this because she was blamed for all the wrong reasons. वैतडीमा अधिकारकर्मींबाटै एक महिला निर्घात कुटिएकी छन् । नेपाल महिला संघकी केन्द्रीय सदस्य तथा अन्तरपार्टी महिला सञ्जालकी जिल्ला सचिव कान्ता चन्दको कुटाइबाट गुरुखोलाकी माधवी भट्ट गम्भीर घाइते भएकी हुन् । कुटपिटबाट भट्टको टाउको र शरीरमा गम्भीर चोट लागेको छ । घाँटी र कम्बरमा लागको चोटका कारण उनी हिँड्न नसक्ने स्थितिमा छन् । उपचारको क्रममा उनको टाउकोमा पाँच टाँका लगइएको छ । बाख्रा बारीमा पसेको निहूँमा चन्दले भट्टलाई कुटपिट गरेकी थिइन् । चन्दाले भने आफूलाई अनेक आरोप लगाएका कारण सहन नसकेर कुटेको वताएकी छन् । जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयले घटनालाई निन्दनीय भनेको छ ।
