मोरङ । चैत ३१ गते वैजनाथपुर गाविस-८ की ४३ वर्षीया अमावतीदेवी थान्दारलाई ०६९ चैत ३० गते सोही ठाउँका ४५ वर्षीय लतुराम थन्दार र ४० वर्षीया इन्दीदेवी थान्दारले बोक्सीको आरोप लगाएर मार्ने धम्की दिएका छन् । पीडितले न्यायका लागि इन्सेकले सञ्चालन गरेको महिला अधिकार संरक्षण र सम्बर्धन कार्यक्रममा घटनाबारे जानकारी गराएकी हुन् । गाउँका भद्रभलादमीसमक्ष न्यायका लागि अनुरोध गर्दासमेत सुनुवाइ नभएको पीडितको भनाइ छ । बोक्सीको आरोप लगाएर सार्वजनिक स्थलमा समेत आरोपितले आमाको बेइज्जत गरेर मानसिक यातना दिएको उनकी छोरी कोपिला थान्दारले रुदै बताइन् । सो समयमा उनकी आमा अमावतीदेवीले पनि आँशु खसालेकी थिइन् । इन्सेक जिल्ला कार्यालय मोरङले पीडितलाई गाविस र प्रहरी चौकीमा उजुरी दिन सल्लाह दिएको छ । दीपेन नेउपाने Morang/April 13

Amawati Devi Thandar, 43, of Baijanathpur8 has been threatened with death by local Laturam Thandar, 45, and Indi Devi Thandar, 40, on April 12.

 

She informed about the incident at a program on Women Rights’ Protection and Promoted being organized by INSEC.

 

She said that she was forced to share it there as her plea to the village elders for help had come to no avail.

A tearful Kopila Thandar, Amawati’s daughter said that the villagers had accused her mother of being a witch and insulted her at the public place.

 

INSEC has suggested them to approach VDC and local police office to seek security and action against the perpetrators.
