Different Student Unions these days are busy in promotion campaign of Free Student Union election scheduled for February 25, 2017. There has been a clash between different student unions in regard to wall painting for election campaign. Ms Sita Mijar of Nepal Student Union(NSU) and Basanta Bhandari of All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU- Democratic) were injured in a clash that took place in Padma Kanya Campus. Both the parties blamed each other after the incident. ANNFSU claimed that the incident took place as NSU erased the wall painting of ANNFSU. "Free Student Union is a common platform of all the students. The public apology has to be made and the culprit has to be punished", stated Surendra Basnet- Spokesperson to Democratic. Student Unions such as ANNFSU has started wall painting in Ratna Raj College, Public Youth, Amrit Science College as a part of election promotion campaign. Though TU has made announcement regarding date of election, 28 years of age limitation for candidates, and mixed modality of election . Yet the schedule of election has to be made public. त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयले आगामी फागुन १४ गते स्ववियुको चुनाव गराउने भएपछि विद्यार्थी संगठनहरू प्रचारप्रसारमा जुट्न थालेका छन् । राजधानीका विभिन्न क्याम्पसमा भित्तेलेखनमा जुटेका विद्यार्थीबीच झडप भएको छ । बागबजारस्थित पद्मकन्या क्याम्पसमा सोमबार भित्तेलेखनलाई लिएर भएको झडपमा नेविसंघकी सीता मिजार र अखिल (क्रान्तिकारी) की एकाइ अध्यक्ष वसन्त भण्डारी घाइते भएका छन् । घटनापछि दुवै पक्षले आरोपप्रत्यारोप गरेका छन् । क्रान्तिकारीले आफ्नो संगठनले गरेको भित्तेलेखनलाई नेविसंघले मेटेपछि झडप भएको विज्ञप्तिमा जनाएको छ । ‘स्ववियु हामी सबै विद्यार्थी साझा चासोको विषय हो,’ क्रान्तिकारीका प्रवक्ता सुरेन्द्र बस्नेतले विज्ञप्तिमा भनेका छन्, ‘यो घटनाप्रति सार्वजनिक रूपमा क्षमा माग्न र दोषीमाथि कारबाही गर्न सम्बन्धित पक्षसित माग गर्छाैं ।’ राजधानीको रत्नराज्य, पब्लिक युथ, अमृत साइन्सलगायत क्याम्पस अनेरास्ववियुलगायत विद्यार्थी संगठनले चुनावी अभियानका रूपमा भित्तेलेखन गर्न थालेका छन् । त्रिविले स्ववियु चुनावको मिति, उम्मेवार बन्न २८ वर्ष उमेर र मिश्रित प्रणालीबाट चुनाव हुने घोषणा गरिसकेको छ । स्ववियु चुनावको तालिका भने सार्वजनिक भएको छैन ।
