Police on Monday arrested a woman on charge of killing her own husband in Gaurighat, Kathmandu. The arrestee has been identified as Saraswati Tamang (41) and the deceased as Suman Tamang (42), of Mitrapark, KMC-7, currently living in a rented house in Gaurighat. Following a dispute, Tamang had jabbed a kitchen knife onto her husband inflicting injuries on Monday, according to police. The critically injured Tamang was rushed to Chabahil-based Helping Hand Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment, said police. Meanwhile, the investigation is underway said police. आफ्नै पतिको हत्या गरेको अभियोगमा काठमाडौं महानगरपालिका–७ मित्रपार्कबाट एक महिला पक्राउ परेकी छन्। गौरीघाट डेरा गरी बस्ने ४१ वर्षीया सरस्वती तामाङलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ। तमाङले सोमबार ४२ वर्षीय पति सुमन तामाङलाई आपसी विवादमा तरकारी काट्ने चक्कुले हानेर ज्यान लिएकी हुन्। गम्भीर घाइते अवस्थामा हेल्पिङ ह्याण्ड अस्पताल चाविहल लगिएकोमा उपचारको क्रममा सुमनकत्त मृत्यु भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। प्रहरीले घटनाको अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको जनाएको छ।
