A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bharatpur VDC of Mahottari district on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Jasira Khatun of Bharatpur VDC-6, informed the District Police Office. The body was found hanging inside her room at around 8:30 pm yesterday, informed Superintendent of Police Nal Prasad Upadhyaya. It has been learned that her husband is in Tamil Nadu of India for employment. Her body has been taken to the District Hospital in Jaleshwor for a postmortem.
