Prasad Khatri, a resident of Matikhanni, threw Kamala out of the house, as she was suffering from epilepsy. She was also abandoned by her family back home. Her brothers didn't allow her to enter the house with a fear that her disease might spread. She is currently staying with her mother in a rented room. Due to her poor financial condition, she is finding it very difficult to sustain her daily life. In spite of knowing that her disease is a treatable one, her brothers didn't show any interest of treating her. मटीखन्नीका प्रसाद खत्रीले छारे रोग लागेकि कमला लाइ घर निकाला गरेकी छन्। माइतिमा पनि उनको विचल्ली छ। दाजुभाईप पनि रोग सर्ने त्रासले घरमा बस्न दिएका छैनन्। छोरिलाइ बोकेर कमला लेखपोखरा-४ पोखरा स्थित माइत आएकी थिइन्। त्यहासमेत बस्न नापाएपछि कोठा भाडामा लिएर आमासंग बसिरहेको दुखेसो गरिन। घर जग्गा केहि नभएकोले उनलाई दैनिक गुजारा चलाउन धौ धौ छ। स्वास्थ्य चेतना अभावमा पति र दाजु भाइले घरबाट निकालेको उनका आफन्त बालाराम ओलीले बताए। कमला अहिले घर न घाटकि भएकी छन्। 'उनीहरुले मेरो बेवास्ता गरे। उनीहरुले यो रोगको उपचार गरेर निको हुन्छ भन्ने थाहा पाएर पनि उपचार गरेनन।
