Nine people who came to attack Shiva Raj Partnership Forest Management Committee Office were arrested. Irfan Khan and Jaffar Musalman of Shivaraj municipality 10, Guddu Musalman, Enam Khan, Mobin Khan, Durga Chaudhary, Sakkula Musalman, Mahafuj Musalman and Gaffar Musalman were remanded in custody for investigation. According to Krishna Datta Bhatta, the action would be taken against them under section D of Forest Act 2049. A person was found cutting down 5 live trees during forest monitoring in Shiva Raj Partnership forest. When the monitor committee tried to take him under control, he ran away but his cycle was taken under control. About 50 people came to attack the forest management committee in protest of the incident and were held. According to Jagdamba Prasad Chaudhary, Chairperson of the committee, Forest Officer, Prem Shankar Gupta and care taker Taileswor Yadav were mishandled by the youths. Chaudhary further mentioning about the threat to life from those involved in timber smuggling informed about written notice sent to Forest Office and Local Administration asking for the security. Meanwhile, District Forest Officer Bhatta said about strong action to be taken against arrested under Forest Act. He further said that 10 days have been extended for further investigation against those arrested. शिवराज साझेदारी वन व्यवस्थापन समितिको कार्यालयमा आक्रमण गर्न आएका नौ जना पक्राउ परेका छन्। शिवराज नगरपालिका १० का ईरफान खान, सोही स्थानका जफ्फार मुसलमान, गुड्डु मुसलमान, ईनाम खान, मोविन खान, दुर्गा चौधरी, सकुल्ला मुसलमान, महफुज मुसलमान र गफ्फार मुसलमान पक्राउ परेका हुन्। सबैलाई अनुसन्धानका लागि जिल्ला वन कार्यालयमा थुनामा राखिएको छ । थुनामा रहेका सबैमाथि वन ऐन २०४९ को दफा ङ बमोजिम कारबाही हुने जिल्ला वन अधिकृत कृष्ण दत्त भट्टले जानकारी दिए। शिवराज साझेदारी वन क्षेत्रमा छपान चेक जांचका क्रममा गएको वन गस्ती टोलील वन क्षेत्रमा ५ वटा हरियो रुख काटिरहेका व्यक्ति उपर कारवाही गर्न खोज्दा ति व्यक्तिहरु भागे पछि उनको साईकल वन कर्मचारीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएका थिए । त्यसको विरोधमा प्रतिवाद गर्न करिब ५० जनाको समूहले चन्द्रौटास्थित शिवराज साझेदारी वन व्यवस्थापन समितिको कार्यालयमा आक्रमण गर्न खोज्दा उनीहरु पक्राउ परेका हुन् । युवाहरुले वन अधिकृत प्रेम शंकर गुप्ता र वन हेरालु तौलेश्वर यादवलाई हातपात समेत गरेको साझेदारी वनका अध्यक्ष जगदम्बाप्रसाद चौधरीले बताए। वन क्षेत्रमा वन संरक्षणको काममा संलग्न गरहेका शिवराज साझेदारी वनका पदाधिकारीहरुलाई पनि वन तस्करीमा संलग्न यस्ता समूहमा ज्यानकै खतरा रहेको भन्दै शान्ति सुक्षाको माग गर्दै आफुहरुले वन कार्यालय र स्थानीय प्रशांसनमा लिखित पत्राचार गरेका समितिका अध्यक्ष चौधरीले बताए । पक्राउ परेका सबै उपर वन ऐन अनुसार थप अनुसन्धान गरी कडा कारवाही गरिने जिल्ला वन अधिकृत भट्टल जानकारी दिए । पक्राउ परेका सबैलाई १० दिनको म्याद थप गरी अनुसन्धान प्रक्रिया अघि बढिसकेको छ’, जिल्ला वन अधिकृत भट्टले भने, ‘वन विरोधी गतिविधीमा संलग्न रहने जो कोहीलाई पनि कसैको भनसुन र दबाबमा छाड्ने छैनौं ।’
