An unidentified group of people had arson Kanchanpur Bidhyamandir Community College at Mahendranagar, Bhidatta Municipality-4 on the night of February 8. A group of 4-6 people had padlocked a security guard Dil Bahadur Chaudhary in a room and set fire on some important papers from account department of the college. The fire completely destroyed papers and some physical assets of the college. The District Police Office said that they are searching for the group involved in an incident. भीमदत्त नपा-४ महेन्द्रनगरस्थित कञ्चन विद्यामन्दिर सामुदायिक कलेजमा माघ २६ गते राति अज्ञात समूहले आगजनी गरेका छन । ०७३ माघ २६ गते राति ३ बजे आएका ४/५ जनाको अज्ञात समूहले कलेजका चौकीदार दिलबहादुर चौधरीलाई कोठामा थुनेर कलेजको लेखा शाखामा भएका कागजपत्र र सामानहरूमा आगो लगाएका थिए । आगलागीबाट लेखा शाखाका सम्पूर्ण कागजात र फर्निचर जलेर नष्ट भएको कलेज प्रमुख डा.राजकुमार साउदले बताए । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले कलेजमा आगजनी गर्ने समूहको खोजी भइरहेको जनायो ।
