A person was killed in Koteli of Dadeldhura on Sunday in a clash that ensued during a dispute over drinking water. The deceased has been identified as Sher Bahadur Saud of Koteli-1 Nwaghar, who is also INSEC VDC coordinator for Koteli VDC. Saud was attacked with khukuri by Bhim Bahadur Bhul following a dispute over drinking water on Sunday. Locals accused the local administration of not making any efforts in mediating the dispute that had been a longstanding cause of tension in the area. They blamed the clash, and eventually the death on the negligence of the local administration. DSP Prem Bahadur Shahi of DPO Dadeldhura however, said that the clash had occured only over a minor dispute. Police recovered a khukuri from the site of the incident. Police have arrested Bhim Bahadur Bhul for investigation. He is also being charged with murder. डडेल्धुराको कोटेलीमा आइतबार खानेपानीको विषयमा भएको विवाद र झडप हुँदा एक जनाको ज्यान गएको छ । पानीको विषयमा कोटेली–१ न्वाघरका शेरबहादुर साउद र २४ वर्षका भीमबहादुर भूलबीच बिवादपछि झडप भएको हो । झडपका क्रममा कोटेली गाबिसका ईन्सेक संयोजक समेत रहेका साउदको ज्यान गएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय डडेल्धुराले जनाएको छ । झडपको क्रममा भीमबहादुरले शेरबहादुरलाई खुकुरी प्रहार गरेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । खुकुरी प्रहारबाट गम्भीर घाइते भएका साउदको उपचारका लागि अस्पताल लैजाने क्रममा बाटोमै ज्यान गएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । खुकुरी प्रहार गर्ने भीमबहादुरलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । त्यहाँ लामोसमयदेखि खानेपानीको विषयमा विवाद भएको थियो । आईतबार बिहान साढे सात बजेतिर भएको घटनाबारे स्थानीय बासिन्दाले विवाद मिलाउन प्रशासनले आनाकानी गर्दा हत्यासम्मको घटना भएको भन्दै आलोचना गरेका छन् । तर यता जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय डडेल्धुराका प्रमुख डिएसपी प्रेमबहादुर शाहीका अनुसार दुई जनाको समान्य विवादमै हत्या भएको र घट्नास्थबाटै एक थान खुकुरी समेत बरामद भएको जनाएको छ । त्यसमा संलग्न भीमबहादुर भुल प्रहरीको नियन्त्रमा रहेको र कर्तब्य ज्यान सम्बन्धी मुद्दा चलाईने डडेल्धुराका प्रहरी प्रमुख डिएसपी शाहीले बताए । डडेल्धुरामा योसँगै यो आर्थिक बर्षमा दुईवटा हत्या भएका छन् ।
