मोरङ । वैशाख १३ गते उर्लाबारी गाविस-८ सुनझोडाकी २४ वर्षीया मुना अधिकारीको हत्या आशंका घटनाको अधिकारवादी संस्थाहरूको पहलमा १० दिनपछि वैशाख १३ गते प्रहरीले पीडितको उजुरी दर्ता गरेको छ । उजुरी दर्ता गर्न राष्ट्रिय मानवअधिकार आयोग, इन्सेकलगायतका संस्थाहरूले चासो व्यक्त गर्दै पहल गरेका थिए । इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय उर्लाबारीले पीडितकी आमा रमा खड्काले ०७० वैशाख ४ गते दिएको उजुरी वैशख १३ गते दर्ता गरेको हो । यसअघि उनले दिएको उजुरी जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय र इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय उर्लाबारीले दर्ता गर्न अस्वीकार गरेको थियो । उजुरीमा मृतकका पति ३० वर्षीय सुमन अधिकारी र परिवारका सदस्यहरूले पीडितलाई कुटपिट गरी घाँटी थिचेर हत्या गरेको उल्लेख गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । घटना ०७० वैशाख ३ गते भएको थियो । पीडितको आम्दा अस्पताल दमकमा उपचार हुन नसकेपछि विराटनगर ल्याउने क्रममा मृत्यु भएको थियो । लासको विराटनगरस्थित कोसी अञ्चल अस्पतालमा वैशाख ४ गते पोष्टमार्टम गरिएको थियो । परिवारका सदस्यहरूले पीडितले विष सेवन गरेर आत्महत्या गरेको वैशाख ४ गते प्रहरीमा जाहेरी दिएका थिए । घटनापछि प्रहरीले मृतकका पति सुमनलाई वैशाख ४ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको थियो । उनी इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय उर्लाबारी हिरासतमा राखिएका छन् । इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय उर्लाबारीका असई युवराज बस्नेतले पीडितको उजुरी दर्ता गरी आरोपितलाई थुनामा राख्न अदालतबाट १० दिनको म्याद थप गरिएको बताए । दीपेन नेउपाने Morang/April 26 Police have filed a case of homicide after the pressure from the human rights organizations as the family of the deceased woman was claiming. The case of murder of Muna Adhikari, 24, of Sunjhoda in Urlabari VDC-8 was filed on April 26. INSEC and NHRC among other organizations had contacted police to know their stand on the case and the claim of Muna’s relatives and attempt to file an FIR on April 17. Uralabari Area Police Office had earlier refused the claim of her relatives including mother Rama Khadka that Muna was beaten and then strangulated to death by her husband Suman Adhikari, 30, and his family on April 16. She died at Amda Hospital, Damak while undergoing treatment. The post-mortem of the body was conducted at Koshi Zonal Hospital. Her in-laws told police on April 17 that she died after consuming poison as a suicide bid. Suman was held by the police on the same day and is currently in the custody in Urlabari Area Police Office. ASI Yuvraj Basnet said that the court had granted 10 days for judicial custody of Suman for investigation. Dipen Neupane
