मोरङ । वैशाख १३ गते विराटनगर उमनपा-१ पोखरियाकी ४१ वर्षीया मोतीमाया आचार्यले पति होमकर्ण आचार्यविरुद्ध जिल्ला अदालतमा ०७० वैशाख १३ गते घरेलु हिंसा ऐनअन्तर्गत मुद्दा दर्ता गरेकी छन् । पतिले खानलाउन नदिएको, कुटपिट गरेको भन्दै उनले उजुरी दर्ता गरेकी हुन् । यसअघि उनले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा ०६९ चैत ५ गते सोही व्यहोराको उजुरी दिएकी थिइन् । उनीसहित सन् २०१३ अङ्ग्रेजी वर्षको पछिल्लो साढे तीन महिनामा जिल्ला अदालतमा घरेलु हिंसासम्बन्धी चारओटामात्र उजुरी परेको अदालतले जनाएको छ । साढे तीन महिनाको अवधिमा जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा घरेलु हिंसासम्बन्धी ६२ ओटा उजुरी परेको महिला तथा बालबालिका सेवा केन्द्रले जनाएको छ । अधिकांश उजुरी जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा सहमति हुने गरेको केन्द्रकी प्रमुख सुमा कार्कीले बताइन् । तर जनशक्तिको अभावमा केन्दमा दर्ता भएका उजुरीमध्ये आधा पनि फस्र्यौट नभएको उनको भनाइ छ । प्रमुख कार्कीका अनुसार, उजुरी परेपछि पक्ष र विपक्ष दुवैका नाममा छलफलका निम्ति पत्राचार गरिन्छ र दुवैको उपस्थिति भए सहमतिका लागि पहल गरिन्छ । सहमति नभएका घटनामात्र अदालतसमक्ष पठाइन्छ । घरेलु हिंसामा पति वा परिवारका सदस्यबाट पीडित विवाहित र अविवाहित महिला तथा बालबालिकाहरू उजुरी दिन आउने गरेका छन् । बहुविवाह, दाइजो, बलात्कार, वैवाहिक बलात्कार, यौनदुर्व्यवहार, कुटपिट, घर निकालालगायतका घटनाहरू बढी आउने गरेको केन्द्रकी प्रमुख कार्कीले बताइन् । Morang/ April 26 Moti Maya Acharya, 41, of Pokhariya, Biratnagar Municipality-1 has lodged a case at District Court against her husband Hom Karna Acharya on charge of domestic violence on April 26. She registered the case accusing him of beating, torturing and depriving her of food and clothes. She had lodged a similar complaint at District Police Office on March 19. Including her case, there are only four cases of domestic violence registered in three months of 2013. Within the period of three and half months, there are 62 cases of domestic violence registered at District Police Office, according to the Women and Children Service Center (WCSC). Most of the cases at District Police Office, conclude in agreement, Suma Karki of WCSC said. Due to the lack of human resources, most of the cases in the center remained pending. She said that in most of the cases of domestic violence, both parties are summoned through letter for discussion when the complaint is received. If both the parties are present then the compromise process will be initiated. Only those cases where there is no agreement, reach the court, she added. Deepen Neupane
