Saptari/May 5 A man, around 50, has been slain by an unidentified group near the Chhapin river at Khojpur VDC-8. According to SI Diwakar Katwal of the Area Police Office Kalyanpur, body of the deceased was found buried under ground while his head was found 500 meters away at around 9 am on May 5. He said that the deceased was yet to be identified Eyes of the deceased have been taken out while his face has been crushed beyond recognition. Locals who had gone to collect grass had informed police after finding his body. Preparations are on to take the body to a well-equipped hospital after Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital said that post-mortem of the body could not be performed in the hospital. The District Police Office said that investigation was ongoing into the incident.
