RPP protested throughout the nation because of Election Commission's decision of removing the provision of Hindu religion and monarchy. RPP staged protest demonstration and sit-in, in many other districts apart from Dang. They commenced the rally from Party's central office near Shahidgate at the election commission office at Kaathekol and also submitted the memorandum. They have been pressurizing election commission to take back their decision. They have even warned the election commission that they will start more programs March onward if their demands aren't taken into consideration. राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टीले विधानमा उल्लेख गरिएको हिन्दु धर्म र राजतन्त्र वाक्यांश हटाउने निर्वाचन आयोगको निर्णयको बिरोधमा सोमबार दांगसहित विभिन्न जिल्लामा बोरोध, प्रदर्शन र ज्ञापन पत्र बुझाएको छ। शहिद गेटको दक्षिणतर्फ रहेको पार्टी कार्यालयबाट र्याली निकालेको राप्रपाले काठेकोलमा रहेको निर्वाचन कार्यालयमा ज्ञापन पत्र बुझाएको हो। पार्टीका जिल्ला अध्यक्ष क्षेत्र बहादुर बस्नेत र केन्द्रीय सदस्य मीना स्वर्णकारको अगुवाईमा राप्रपाले धर्ना बस्दै ज्ञापन पत्र बुझाएको हो। विर्वाचन आयोगले गरेको निर्णय फिर्ता लिन दबाब स्वरूप राप्रपाले सडक संघर्ष सुरु गरेको जानेको छ। आफ्नो निर्णय फिर्ता नलिए चैतको तेस्रो साताबाट थप कार्यक्रम गर्ने राप्रपाले चेतावानी दिएको छ।
