Police on Monday arrested 37 cadres of Naya Shakti Nepal party who were picketing the District Election Office in Rupandehi. Leaders and cadres of Naya Shakti Nepal party picketed the District Election Office as a part of the party's agitation against the decision of the election commission to not provide election symbol during local level elections to parties which are currently not present in the parliament. The arrested are being held at DPO Rupandehi. निर्वाचन कार्यालय घेराउ गरेको कारण नयाँ शक्तिका ३७ नेता कार्यकर्तालाई पक्राउ गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रुपन्देहीका डीएसपी बेल बहादुर पाण्डेले जानकारी दिए । स्थानीय निकायको निर्वाचनको लागि निर्वाचन आयोगले चुनाव चिन्ह नदिएको विरोध नयाँ शक्ति नेता कार्याकर्ता निर्वाचन कार्यालय घेराउ गर्न पुगेका थिए । पक्राउ परेकोहरुलाई अहिले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रुपन्देहीमा राखिएको छ ।
