The disqualified combatants have threatened of taking up the arms unless proper steps are taken for their management.
Speaking at a press conference in Hetaunda on December 26 to announce the formation of Disqualified People's Liberation Army, the struggle committee general secretary Kiran Dangal warned of the armed action.
Saying that the government was making the Maoist combatants to surrender by treating them as commodities, Dangal said that if required, the disqualified 4,800 combatants can damage CA building, Singh Darbar and Baluwatar.
They have also forwarded a 4-point demand. Committee's vice-chairperson Lenin Bishta said they had to come on the streets because the government had failed to address them.
