RPP Palpa has burnt the letter sent by the election commission as a disagreement to the decision made by the election commission to remove some of the terms mentioned in their constitution such as Monarchy and Hindu State in Shittalpati. They have threatened to stop the local level election if their demand are not meet. Head of the commission Gopi Nath Mainali said that the monarchy has already been dissolved from the country because of which, such terms were eliminated from the constitution. Head of RPP Palpa Mr. Hari Prasad Bashyal said that they will continue the protest until and unless they don't take their decision back. राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टी पाल्पाले बिरोध स्वरूप निर्वाचन आयोगले पठाएको पत्र तानसेनको शित्तलपाटीमा जलाएको छ। पार्टी एकीकरणपछि निर्वाचन आयोगले राप्रपाको बिधान,अ हिन्दु राष्ट्र र राजसंस्था सहितका प्रजातन्त्र जस्ता शब्द संबिधान विपरित भएकोले हटाएको भन्दै आयोगले पठाएको पत्र नै राप्रपा पाल्पाले शित्ताल्पाटीमा जलाएको छ। आयोगले निर्णय नासच्च्याए स्थानीय निर्वाचन समेत नहुने अवस्था आउने चेतावनी दिए। आयोगका सचिव गोपीनाथ मैनालीले चैत्र ४ गते पार्टीलाई पठाएको पत्रमा देश धर्म निरपेक्षतामा गैसकेको र देशबाट राजतन्त्रको उन्मुलन भईसकेको अवस्था संबिधान अनुसार बिधानबाट शब्दहरु झिकिएको उल्लेख गरिएको छ। निर्वाचन आयोगले निर्णय नसच्याउदा सम्म आन्दोलन निरन्तर जारी रहने राप्रपा पाल्पाका सचिव हरिप्रसाद बस्यालले बताए।
