Cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front on Sunday have staged a sit-in in Janakpur, Dhanusha district, expressing their dissatisfaction over the local level elections slated for May 14. The protesters staged the protest at the District Election Office. Day-to-day activities at the offices were disrupted due to the protest. संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेसी मोर्चाले जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन् । मोर्चाका नेता तथा कार्यकर्ताहरुले कार्यालय खुल्नु अगावै कार्यालय परिसरमा पुगेर धर्ना दिएका थिए । उनीहरुले सरकार विरोधी नारा समेत लगाएका थिए । मोर्चाको निर्वाचन कार्यालय घेराउ हुन थालेपछि कार्यालयको सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कडा पारिएको थियो । कार्यालय परिसरमा सशस्त्र प्रहरी र नेपाल प्रहरीलाई परिचालन गरिएको छ । मोर्चाका संयोजक प्रमोद यादवको नेतृत्वमा धर्ना दिइएको थियो ।
