Naya Shakti Party Gulmi and Maoists Revolutionary Gulmi organized a sit-in at Election Office, Gulmi, demanding the party's Election Symbol. Cadres of Naya Shakti Party started the sit-in since 9am in the morning. Pun Ram Gyawali, president of the party expressed his anger stating that government is deliberately attempting to stop Naya Party from being a part of the election. As per Gyawali, his cadres were harassed while they were demonstrating peacefully. He has also threatened that they will continue the demonstration until their demands are met. दलिय चुनाव चिन्हको माग गर्दै नया शक्ति पार्टी नेपाल गुल्मी र क्रान्तिकारी माओवादी गुल्मीले जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालयमा धर्ना दिएका छन्। केन्द्रीय कार्यक्रम अनुसार पार्टीका कार्यकर्ताले सोमबार बिहान ९ बजेबाट धर्ना दिएका हुन्। कार्यालयको गेटमा पार्टीका जिल्ला अध्यक्ष पुनराम ज्ञवालीले सरकारले जबरजस्ती नयाँ शक्ति पार्टीलाई चुनावमा लैजान नचाएको भन्दै आक्रोश व्यक्त गरे। देशका २७ दलले सिन्डिकेट लाद्न खोजेकोले सबै जनतालाई त्यो मान्य नहुने उनले बताए। अध्यक्ष ज्ञवालीले सरकारले केन्द्रीय कार्यालयमा शान्तिपूर्ण आन्दोलनमा बसेका आफ्ना नेतामाथि जबरजस्ती धरपकड गरेर आन्दोलनलाई उग्र बनाउन खोजेको भन्दै शान्तिपूर्ण आन्दोलन गर्न पाउने अधिकारलाई हनन् नगर्न चेतावनी दिए। आफ्नो पार्टीले राखेको माग पूरा नहुन्जेल संघर्षका कार्यक्रम जारी राख्ने बताए।
