Dhading/May 13 A UML cadre has been injured after UCPN-M cadres attacked him on May 11 over a dispute at a reception in Kumpur VDC. Bhuwan Shrestha, 35, of Raikar in Kampur VDC-9 was injured when attacked by UCPN-M cadre Shankha Narayan Shrestha hit him with split firewood over dispute between guests attending a reception. The victim sustained serious injury to his head. He is getting treatment at the District Hospital. He received 14 stitches in his head. A dispute ensued following a political discussion in the party and UCPN-M cadre was attacked, according to a press release issued by the UCPN-M district coordinator Puspa Bikram Malla on May 12. The injured Shrestha and the accused Shankha Narayan is in police custody.
