A 19-year-old girl has been gang-raped by three men on the night of May 6, according to police. Yogendra Shrivastav, 25, of Somdihawa VDC-2 had taken her to the room of his friends Jagadish Pandey, 22, and Asarar Khan, 24, in Nayatol of Kapilbastu Municipality-1 on May 9 under the pretext of dropping her home and the three had raped her there. Yogendra, Jagdish of Kapilvastu Municipality-4 and Ashrar Khan, 24, of Dumara VDC-2 were arrested by the police on the same day after the girl made a complaint to the police after fleeing from their captivity. All three have been charged with rape and they have been remanded for investigation.
