It is said that Nepali congress activists attacked CPN-UML cadres when the latter were holding a mass gathering for polls at Kafalbata of Kushe Rural Municipality in Jajarkot on Thursday. UML's district Under-secretary Prem Prasadh Gharti said that a gang led by Prithvi Bahadur Shahi attacked them with knives and stoned while they were studying the party's election manifesto. Three UML cadres have sustained critical injuries in the attack. Sher Bahadur Singh, Bhim Bahadur Chalaune and Sandip BK are saidd to be critically injured. A police team from Area police Post Panchkatiya was deployed at the incident site, according to DSP Bhabesh Rimal of DPO Jajarkot. यहाँको कुशेगाउँपालिका वडा १ काफलवाटा स्थित नेकपा एमालेले गरेको चुनावी सभामा आक्रमण भएको छ । नेपाली कांग्रेसका कार्यक्रताद्वारा एमालेको चुनावी सभामा आक्रमण भएको एमालेले आरोप लगाएको छ । सभामा एमालेका कार्यकर्ताले चुनावी घोषणापत्र पढिरहेको वेला कांग्रेसका प्रितिवहादुर शाहीको नेतृत्वमा आएका कार्यकर्ताले आक्रमण गरि आफ्ना तीन जना कार्यक्रताहरु घाईते बनाएको एमालेका प्रमोद विश्वकर्माले वताए । विश्वकर्माका अनुसार शेरवहादुर सिंहलाई चक्कु प्रहार गरि घाईते वनाइएको छ भने ढुङगा प्रहारवाट भीमवहादुर चलाउने वाँया हात, सन्दिप विकको दाँया खुट्टामा चोट लागेको छ । सोलगत्तै औपचारिक कार्यक्रम स्थगित भएको विश्वकर्माले वताए । घटना स्थलमा प्रहरी परिचालन गरिएको डिएसपी भावेश रिमालले बताए ।
