Biratnagar/ May 15 Hari Adhikari, a news reporter of Udghosh Daily published from Biratnagar, has been threatened of death by operator of Ramailo Hospital Pvt. Ltd. Kumar Phuyal. The victim with help from the Federation of Nepali Journalists Morang chapter lodged a complaint at District Police office, Morang on May 15 demanding security. Phuyal had threatened Adhikari over phone on May 10 regarding the news of the presence of liquor shop in hospital published in the May 5 edition of the daily. Adhikari, 20, of Bayarban VDC-6 and living in Biratnagar said that Phuyal called him from mobile no 9842279764 and threatened to make his condition as that of Dekendra Thapa. FNJ Morang chapter and Press Chautari condemned the incident on the same day. The District Police Office, Morang said that search for the accused is underway.
