Saptari/May 16 Police have arrested two teenagers on May 15 on charge of raping a 16-year-old girl. Locals had apprehended the duo – one 18-year-old of Bananiya VDC-6 and other 17-year-old of Nargho VDC-4 – while they were raping the victim at her home on May 15 morning. They were later handed over to the police, said DSP Shyam Singh Chaudhary of the District Police Office. The victim has returned home following a health check-up at the Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj. DSP Chaudhary informed that a rape case had been registered against the accused at the DPO on May 15. He added that they are kept in police custody and their medical check-up were also conducted.
