Siraha/May 19 Babita Devi Mahato, 32, of Gadha VDC-9 has been shot dead by her husband Shyam Sundar Mahato, 35, around midnight on May 18. Lahan Area Police Office’s Inspector Gopal Prasad Dhakal informed that the police reached the site soon after the incident following a call from the neighbors. He added that the woman had been shot in the temple and that they recovered a bullet case and magazine at the deceased’s home. The postmortem of the body was conducted at Lahan Hospital on May 19. Father-in-law of the deceased filed an FIR at the police station on May 19. The deceased had two sons and a daughter who were sent to their uncle by the accused. Inspector Dhakal informed that they were searching for Shyam who was absconding since the incident. Durga Pariyar सिरहा । जेठ ५ गते गाढा गाविस-९ कि ३२ वर्षीया बबितादेवी महतोलाई ०७० जेठ ४ गते राति करिब १२ बजेतिर उनका पति ३५ वर्षीय श्यामसुन्दर महतोले गोली हानी हत्या गरेका छन् । स्थानीयवासीले राति वडा प्रहरी कार्यालय लहानमा खबर गरेपछि प्रहरी राति नै घटनास्थल पुगेको लहानका इन्सपेक्टर गोपालप्रसाद ढकालले बताए । उनका अनुसार मृतक महिलाको कन्चटमा गोली लागेको र घटनास्थलमा गोलीको खोका र म्याग्जीन फेला परेको थियो । लासको लहान अस्पतालमा जेठ ५ गते पोष्टमार्टम गरेको प्रहरीले बताए । घटनाको जाहेरी मृतकका ससुरा मिश्रीलाल महतोले सोही दिन प्रहरी कार्यालयमा बुझाएका छन् । हत्यापश्चात श्यामसुन्दरले दुई छोरा र एक छोरीलाई सोही गाविसको वडा नं.३ बस्ने सानाबुवालाई छोराछोरी जिम्मा लगाई पत्नी मारेको भनी फरार भएकोले आरोपीको खोजतलास भैरहेको इन्सपेक्टर ढकालले बताए । दुर्गा परियार
