Police in Dang district have arrested a man on charge of murdering his own father in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-8 on Wednesday. The murder suspect has been identified as Laxman Giri (41) and the deceased as his father Ram Bahadur Giri (63), the local residents. According to the District Police Office, following a property-related dispute, Giri had struck his father with a rolling pin that killed the latter on the spot in Saudikula yesterday. Giri was arrested on Wednesday itself and is under investigation, informed the Superintendent of Police (SP) Dheeraj Pratap Singh at the DPO. The accused, however, has denied the charge of killing his father. The body has been sent to the Ghorahi-based Rapti Sub-regional Hospital for an autopsy. Meanwhile, Police are waiting for a postmortem report to confirm the cause of his death. It has been learned that the accused used to quarrel with his father time and again over the property issues. घरायसी बिवादका कारण आफ्नै छोरा ४१ वर्षीय लक्ष्मण गिरीले बुधबार कुटपिट गर्दा गम्भीर घाइते भएका घोराही उपमहानगरपालिका–८ सौडिकुला बस्ने ६३ वर्षीय रामबहादुर गिरीको राप्ती उपक्षेत्रीय अस्पताल घोराहीमा उपचारको क्रममा मृत्यु भएको छ । कुटपिट गर्ने लक्ष्मणलाई पक्राउ गरी यस सम्बन्धमा प्रहरीबाट आवश्यक अनुसन्धान भइरहेको छ ।
