Singer and actor Bikram Pariyar was mysteriously stoned to death by an unidentified gang. The unknown group hurled stones at Pariyar while he was riding his motorbike at Nirmaltar in Byash Municipality-1 at around 5 pm on Sunday, police said. It has remained a mystery as to who killed Pariyar. He had arrived in Damauli on Saturday to cast his ballot in the local level polls. Police Inspector Bijaya Raj Pandey said they have been searching for those involved in the incident. His body was found bleeding along with a stone by his side. Another local Devi Narayan Shrestha has been injured in the incident. He has been referred to Pokhara after preliminary treatment at Ratnahari Hospital. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the murder was not politically motivated. अज्ञात समूहले ढुंगा प्रहार गरेर ४४ वर्षीय गायक तथा कलाकार विक्रम परियारको हत्या भएको छ । व्यास नगरपालिका १ निर्मलटारमा मोटरसाइकलमा गइरहेका परियारको आइतबार साँझ ५ बजे हत्या भएको प्रहरीले बताएको छ । निर्वाचनमा मतदान गर्न शनिवार दमौली आएका परियारलाई किन र कसले हत्या गरेको भन्ने अहिलेसम्म खुलेको छैन । घटनामा संलग्नको खोजी भैरहेको प्रहरी निरिक्षक विजयराज पण्डितले बताए । घटनास्थलमा रगताम्मे भएको ढुंगा फेला परेको थियो । उक्त घटनामा स्थानीय देवीनारायण श्रेष्ठ पनि घाइते छन् । उनको दमौलीस्थित रत्नहरी अस्पतालमा सामान्य उपचारपछि थप उपचारका लागि पोखरा पठाइएको छ । उक्त घटना राजनीतिक विषय नभएको प्रारम्भिक अनुसन्धानमा खुलेको प्रहरीले दाबी गरेको छ ।
