Local youths staged a traffic strike in Janakpur on Sunday stating that they would not allow the second phase of local level election to take place without amending the constitution as per the demand of UDMF. The strike was enforced from 10 am to noon in Ramananda Chowk of Dhanusha district. According to Dharmendra Shah, Coordinator of Joint Youth Struggle Committee, the strike was a symbolic warning for any possible irregularities in constitution amendment process scheduled for 28 May. संविधान संसोधन नगरि निर्वाचन गराउन लागेको भन्दै जनकपुरका युवाहरुले आइतबार चक्काजाम गरेका छन् । जनकपुरको रामानन्द चोकमा बिहान दुई घण्टा (बिहान १० बजेदेखि १२ बजेसम्म) चक्काजाम गरेको हो । जेठ ४ गते हुने संविधान संसोधनको प्रक्रियामा बेइमानी नहोस भनी चेतावनी र खबरदारी स्वरुप चक्काजामको आयोजना गरेको संयुक्त युवा संघर्ष समितिका संयोजक धमेन्द साहले बताए ।
