Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN-Maoist cadres vandalized the boards of Phaktanlung of Triveni rural municipality in Taplejung on Thursday. Officer Ram Sundar Thapa at Phattanglung rural municipality said CPN cadres threw the office board early this morning. He added that the incident occurred while he was at district headquarters for official work. Chand has announced the areas as election prohibited areas. DSP Ram Bahadur KC of District police officer, Taplejung said that information about the persons involved in the incident has reached the office. He informed that police personnel has been deployed to search for the cadres involved in the incident. Meanwhile, a district in charge of the party Aashish accepted that the party cadres were responsible for the incident. update................................... Mechi bureau member of CPN Ram Kumar Chudal has been arrested for violating election code of conduct by vandalizing hoarding board of Athrai Triveni and phaktanglung village municipality and throwing it away.
