Rastriya Janata Party has staged torch rally in Mahottari against the second phase of election without addressing the Madhesi demands. The leaders of the party demonstrated the torch rally demanding for the amendment of constitution and rolling back the false cases against their cadres. Similarly, according to INSEC district representative Binod Kumar Rabidas, a torch rally was staged in Janakpur against the government’s decision of second phase of election prior to the amendment of constitution. District coordinator Parameshwor Shah of the party said that the Janta party will never support the election until their demands are not addressed by the government. मधेशको माग सम्बोधन बिना नै सरकारले दोस्रो चरणको चुनाव गराउन लागेपछि राष्ट्रिय जनता पार्टीले घोषणा गरेको आन्दोलनको कार्यक्रम अनुसार जेठ १३ गते महोत्तरीमा मशाल जुलुस निकालेको छ । राजपा नेपालका नेता तथा कार्यकर्ताहरूले परिमार्जन सहितको संविधान संशोधन गर, झुठा मुद्दा फिर्ता गर लगायतका नारासहित मसाल जुलुस निकालेका हुन् । त्यसैगरी इन्सेक धनुषा जिल्ला प्रतिनिधि विनोदकुमार रविदासका अनुसार मधेसीको माग अनुसारको संविधान संशोधन नगरी स्थानीय तहको चुनाव गराउन खोजेको आरोपमा मधेसी मोर्चाले जनकपुरमा मशाल जुलुस प्रदर्शन गरेको छ । संविधान संशोधन नगरेको खण्डमा मधेशी समुदाय कुनै पनि हालत चुनावमा भाग नलिने र चुनाव बहिष्कार गरी उम्मेदवारहरूलाई ‘मोसो दल्ने’ राजापाका जिल्ला संयोजक परमेश्वर साहले बताए ।
