Surkhet: 27 May, Protesting against the local administration stopping the establishment of Buddha's statue in Kankre Bihar, an archeological site and protected area, Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) has called for indefinite Surkhet District Banda from 26 May onwards. (The banda is highly effective in Birendranagar (Surkhet Valley) for the 2nd consecutive day today with no vehicle movement and market, institutions closed.)
