Eight women rescued from India-Nepal boarder in Kanchanpur

Police rescued 8 women from the Dodharchandani border check-point in Kanchanpur. The women were being taken to India on Monday in the pretext of foreign employment. According to Police In-charge, Birdutta Panta, the women were rescued with the help of locals from both sides while they were being taken from Mahendranagar on motorcycles. The rescued women are from Nawalparasi, Makwanpur, Sarlahi, and Sunsari. The women were 20 to 40 years of age.
