Rukum/May 27 Five persons have been injured after UCPN-M cadres attacked in the mass assembly organized by NC in Garayala VDC on May 26. UCPN-M cadres led by Kedar Bista had pelted stones while NC leader Gagan Thapa was welcoming the newcomers in the party after his speech. This led to a clash between both sides. Three UCPN-M cadres and two NC cadres sustained minor injuries in the clash. According to NC Rukum, the clash ensued after YCL cadres thrashed NC cadres who were returning home with party flags and microphone following the program. NC cadre Gobre Khadka, 53, was seriously injured in the UCPN-M attack.
