A group of unidentified individuals attacked Nepal Telecommunications Authority Chairman Digambar Jha in the Capital on Sunday. The group hurled stones at NTA chief Jha’s vehicle near Madan Bhandari College at Anamnagar, leaving the vehicle’s rear windsheild shattered in the incident. “A group of 5-6 individuals attacked me when I was on my way home from work,” said the NTA chairman. “The vehicle that I was riding has sustained damage but I am fine. I have reported the incident to police.” The Metropolitan Police Circle, Kathmandu, saod they are searching for the perpetrators.
