Normal life in Rapti Zonal districts including Dang has remained affected Tuesday due to the one-day strike called by Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). Vehicles plying long routes, educational institutions and factories are closed today. Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has called shutdown today demanding release of its cadres who were arrested while launching anti-election campaigns. The party has informed that police have arrested 10 cadres including central member of the party and Rapti Bureau In-charge Subas, Central member Asal, Secretary of Pyuthan Dadiram Subedi. Dang's district members Bhim Prakash Pun, Bhim Bahadur BK, Hari KC were also arrested by the police.
