Ward chair candidate Chinang Bhote of Maoist center from Bhotekhola Village council-2 Sankhuwasabha has been murdered. He was killed after he was hit with a stone by 54 years old Chimik Bhote on June 18 over a dispute on road according to the police. Chinang was severely injured and he died even after receiving treatment. Police have arrested the accused for investigation according to DPO Sankhuwasabha. Releasing a press statement, the party office of Maoist Center Sankhuwasabha has condemned the incident and demanded for the action against the accused. The statement also demanded to declare Chintang Bhote as a martyr along with compensation to his family. The press release signed by the District Incharge R.P Kiranti demanded for the security of the district. सङ्खुवासभाको भोटखोला गाउँपालिका-२, च्याम्ताङका माओवादी केन्द्रका खुल्ला वडा सदस्य छिनाङ भोटेको हत्या भएको छ । असार ४ गते छिमेकी ५४ वर्षीय छिमिक भोटेसँग बाटोको विषयमा विवाद भएको र छिमिकले छिनाङको टाउकोमा ढुङ्गाले प्रहार गर्दा छिनाङ घाइते भएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सङ्खुवासभाले जनाएको छ । घाइते भएका छिनाङको स्थानीय चेपुवा स्वास्थ्य चौकीमा उपचार गरी घर लैजाने क्रममा राति अन्दाजी ९ बजे ज्यान गएको हो । ढुङ्गा प्रहार गर्ने छिमिक भोटेलाई प्रहरीले गिरफ्तार गरी कर्तव्य ज्यान मुद्दामा आवश्यक अनुसन्धान भइरहेको डिएसपी गौतमकुमार केसीले बताए । च्याम्ताङबाट जिल्ला अस्पाताल आउन करिव पैदल तीन दिन लाग्छ । नेकपा (माओवादी केन्द्र) सङ्खुवासभाले विज्ञप्तिमार्फत हत्यारालाई कारबाहीको माग गदै मृत भोटेलाई शहीद घोषणा गरी क्षतिपूर्ति उपलब्ध गराउन माग गरेको छ । जिल्ला इञ्चार्ज आरपी किराँतिद्वारा हस्ताक्षरित विज्ञप्तिमा घटनाले निर्वाचनको समयमा अशान्त वातावरण बनाएको भन्दै उम्मेदवारको सुरक्षाको साथै मतदाताहरूको समेत भरपर्दो सुरक्षा व्यवस्था गर्न माग गरेको छ ।
