The District Administration Office said that the candidate of Naya Shakti Party has violated the election Code of conduct by distributing rice in Sandhikharka Municipality-7. The candidate had distributed the rice, chemical manure and salt on June 24 against the election code of conduct. The District Code of Conduct monitoring committee of the district had monitored the municipality after the complaint was received. Chief District Officer (CDO) Narayan Khatri said that the materials were found without invoices and were sealed by the committee. The monitoring committee has sealed 20 sacks of rice, three sacks of salt and six sacks of manure. It is against the election code of conduct to distribute such materials to influence voters.
