A 65-year-old woman has been murdered in Gaushala municipality-1 of Mahottari on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Mansariya Devi Mahato. Mahato was found dead at her house on Monday morning by her neighbours. According to the neighbours she had gone home after chatting with them on Sunday at around 9:00pm. Inspector Shambu Pokhrel of Area Police Office Gaushala said that Mahato's face had been burned with and her body had swollen hinting that she had been attacked with acid by the murderer. Police are further investigating on the incident. महोत्तरीमा आइतबार राति एसिड प्रहार गरि एक एकल महिलाको हत्या भएको छ । गौशाला नगरपालिका–१, रामनगरकी ६५ वर्षकी मंसरिया देवी महतोको हत्या भएको हो । घरमा एक्लै बस्दै आएकी मंसरिया देवी आइतबार राति ९ बजेसम्म छिमेकीसँग कुराकानी गरेर सुत्न गएकी देवीको घरमा सोमबार बिहान अबेरसम्म कुनै चालचुल नपाएपछि छिमेकले हेर्न जाँदा अनुहारमा एसिड छ्यापेको अवस्थामा ओछ्यानमै मृत शरीर फेला पारेर खबर गरेको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय गौशालाका प्रहरी निरीक्षक सम्भु पोखरेलले जानकारी दिनुभयो । एसिडले अनुहार जलेको छ । घटनाको विषयमा अनुसन्धान भइरहेको पोखरेलले जानकारी दिनुभयो । मंसरनियाको घर नजिक ५० मिटर वरपर कुनै घर छैन । करिब १५ दिन अघि छोराबुहारीले त्यसभन्दा केहि पर अर्को घर बनाएर बस्न थालेका छन् ।
