Cadres of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal staged a baton rally in Gaur of Rautahat district on Saturday as a part of the party's agitation program against the government's decision to hold second phase of local level election without amending the constituion as demanded by the party. Participants at the baton rally chanted slogans demanding the fulfillment of demands of Madhesi people and the amendment of the constitution. राष्ट्रिय जनता पार्टी नेपाल, रौतहटको आयोजनामा शनिवार गौरमा लाठी जुलुस प्रदर्शन भएको छ । राजपाका केन्द्रीय महासचिव अजयकुमार गुप्ता, श्रीमन्नारायण मिश्र, शम्भु सुप्रिम, मुरलीधर जैसवाल, शेख जमसैद, शेख नुरुल होदा, रणधीर सिंहलगायतका नेताहरूको सक्रियतामा निस्केको लाठी जुलुसले नगरपरिक्रमा गरेको थियो । सोक्रममा संविधान संशोधन गर, मधेसी एकता जिन्दाबाद, मधेसीको माग पूरा गर, संशोधनपश्चात् स्थानीय निकाय निर्वाचन गरलगायतका नारा लगाइएको थियो । वीपी चोकदेखि शुरू भएको जुलुस नगरपरिक्रमा गरी कोणसभामा परिणत भएको थियो ।
