A person has been injured as Maoists clashed with UML supporters in Western Nepal as polls closed on Wednesday night in the second round of civic elections. In Argakhanchi’s Malarani Rural Municipality-3, UML cadres attacked Maoist student leader Nrayan Khanal, who sustained grave injuries. He has been brought to Kathmandu on a Nepali Army helicopter for treatment.
