A 5-year-old boy from Bhojpur municipality-12 was injured after being mercilessly beaten by his step mother on Wednesday. The boy, Nishan Ramtel, sustained blue marks on his body due to his step-mother Urmila Ramtel's beating. According to the boy's neighbour Sita Shrestha, his step mother hit him with stick on his face, back and other parts of his body causing serious injury. Police arrested the woman on Thursday after neighbours lodged a complaint at the police on Thursday, demanding action against the boy's step mother. Police भोजपुर नपा-१२ का पाँच वर्षीय बालक निशान रम्तेललाई उनका सौतेनी आमा उर्मीला रम्तेलले असार २१ गते शरीरमा निलडाम हुनेगरी निर्घात रुपमा कुटपिट गरेका छन् । लौरोले अनुहार र पिठ्यूँलगायत विभिन्न भागमा निलडाम हुने गरी कुटपिट गरेका कारण बालकलाई गम्भीर चोट लागेको उनका छिमेकी सिता श्रेष्ठले बताइन् । बालकलाई निर्घात रूपमा कुटपिट गरिएपछि स्थानीयले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा खबर गरी कुटपिट गर्ने विरुद्ध असार २२ गते कारबाहीको माग गर्दै उजुरी दिएका छन् । स्थानीयको उजुरीको आधारमा कुटपिट गरेको आरोपमा सौतेनी आमा उर्मीलालाई प्रहरीले गिरफ्तार गरी कारबाही प्रकृया अगाडि बढाइएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनायो ।
