Dang/June 3 Four ex-Kamalaris have been injured after police intervened in a sit-in staged by them at the District Administration Office on June 3. Those injured in police action are Central Chairperson of Freed Kamalaris Development Forum Manjita Chaudhary, Sita Chaudhary, Gyanu Thapa and Anita Chaudhary. Manjita and Sita had gained consciousness after treatment in the Rapti Sub-regional Hospital. They were staging the protest demanding action investigation over the death of a Kamalari Srijana Chaudhary at the house of Yubaraj Paudel in Lalitpur two months ago. Police had arrested more than 50 ex-Kamalris who were staging the sit-in at the main gate of the DAO. They were released later. According to the District Police Office, police were compelled to arrest the agitating ex-Kamalaris as their protest had affected those seeking service from the DAO. The ex-Kamalaris accused the male police of attacking them. Meanwhile, the Struggle Committee of the ex-Kamalaris has announced indefinite strike saying that the government did not heed to their demands. Coordinator of the Struggle Committee Phakala Tharu said that they would cripple life in the 22 districts of Tarai until their demands are met. दाङ । जेठ २० गते ललितपुरका युवराज पौडेलको घरमा कमलरी बसेकी सृजना चौधरीको गएको चैत १४ गते जलेर मृत्यु भएको भन्ने खबर बाहिर आएपछि दोषीलाई कारबाहीको माग गर्दै आन्दोलित भई जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयमा धर्नामा बसेका कमलरी माथि मुक्त कमलरीमाथि जेठ २० गते हस्तक्षेप हुँदा चार जना कमलरी घाइते भएका छन् । प्रहरी हस्तक्षेपबाट मुक्त कमलरी विकास मञ्चकी केन्द्रीय अध्यक्ष मञ्जिता चौधरी सीता चौधरी, ज्ञानु थापा र अनिता चौधरी घाइते भएका हुन् । घाइते मध्ये मञ्जिता र सिता बेहोस बेहोस् भएका थिए । उनीहरूको राप्ती उपक्षेत्रीय अस्पतालमा उपचारपछि होस खुलेको थियो । जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यलयको मुल गेटमा धर्नामा बसेका करिव ५० बढी मुक्त कमलरीहरूलाई प्रहरीले गिरफ्तार गरी छाडेको छ । जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयको मूल गेटमा धर्ना बस्न गएका आन्दोलनकारीले गेट बन्द गरेर सेवाग्राहीलाई मर्का पार्न थालेपछि बाध्य भएर गिरफ्तार गर्न परेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय दाङले जनाएको छ । कमलरीहरूले भने पुरुष प्रहरी आवेगमा आएर हामीमाथि जाइ लागेको आरोप लगाएका छन् । कमलरी कृष्णा चौधरीले महिला प्रहरी पछाडि हुँदाहुँदै पनि पुरुष प्रहरीले अगाडि आएर समातेर गाडीमा हालेको बताइन् । उता प्रहरीले भने मर्यादित हिसावले नै आन्दोलनकारीलाई व्यवहार गरेको बताएको छ । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय दाङका प्रहरी नायव उपरिक्षक अरुणकुमार शाहले प्रयाप्त महिला प्रहरी भएको स्वीकार गरेका छन् । यसैबीच सरकारले आफ्ना मागको सनुवाई नगरेको भन्दै अनिश्चितकालीन बन्दको आयोजना गरेको जनाएको छ । आफ्ना माग पुरा नहुँदासम्म जेठ २१ गतेदेखि अनिश्चितकालीन बन्दको आयोजना गरिएको सङ्घर्ष समितिका संयोजक फकला थारुले जानकारी दिएका छन् । आफ्ना मागको सुानुवाइ नगर्दासम्म तराईका २२ जिल्ला ठप्प पार्ने सङ्घर्ष समितिले जनाएको छ । शालिकराम मुसाफिर
