Aakar Limbu, central chairperson of Khambuwan Mukti Morcha- Samyukta KMM-S and its special force commander Nabin Khambu have been arrested along with weapons from Pokhariya of Biratnagar Sub-metropolis-1 on December 30.

Limbu and Khambu of the underground armed outfit were arrested by a special taskforce of eastern regional police office, police said.

KMM-S spokesperson Uday Khambu has also confirmed the arrest of Limbu and Khambu.

The arrestees have been blamed for their involvement in violent activities, police said.
