Police in Nuwakot district arrested a man convicted on charge of human trafficking from Jhapa on Monday. Police nabbed Kumar Tamang(24) of Gyangphedi in Nuwakot, who had been on the run after being charged on two counts of human trafficking incidents. Tamang was arrested while trying to traffic another woman to India after successfully selling two others earlier. He was arrested on the basis of complaint filed by the rescued woman who was being taken to India under a pretext of providing her good employment. Tamang was presented before the Nuwakot District Court on Monday. The police have launched investigation into the case for further legal action, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Rishi Ram Kandel at the Nuwakot District Police Office.
