Bharatraj Bishta, 28, of Thirpu4 and working in Naya Karnali has been threatened by UML district committee member Ratna BK on December 31.

He was abused for broadcasting the news of release of INSEC fact finding report on the death of Manbire Sunar at Jubitha.

Bishta said BK called him around 9 pm threatening to 'uproot the radio tower and bury him under the radio tower for broadcasting such false news'.

He has filed a complaint at District Police Office on January 1 asking for action against BK. BK has been summoned to the police station. BK, however, claimed that he did not threatened but was just inquiring about the news.
