Kathmandu/ June 11 Representatives of more than 25 organizations working in the field of Dalit Rights and Human Rights staged a sit-in protest in front of Singha Durbar on June 11 demanding action against those involved in the attack on Dalits of Vingabar, Pipariya Dostiya-8 of Rautahat. The protest organized by Dalit Civil Society on June 11 condemned the attack and demanded severe action against those involved in the attack. Furthermore, the society demanded compensation and free medical treatment to those injured in the attack. Dalit NGO Federation President Gajadhar Sunar said that the civil society demanded formation of investigation committee to end untouchability and caste discrimination and adopt policies for necessary solution. INSEC Regional Coordinator Krishna Gautam, Dalit NGO Federation President Sunar, Durga Shov of Jagaran Nepal, and other rights activists were present in the program. Bibek Dhungana काठमाडौँ । ०७० जेठ २८ गते दलित अधिकार तथा मानवअधिकारका क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत २५ ओटा भन्दा बढी संघसस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरूले जेठ २५ गते रौतहट जिल्ला पिपरिया दोस्तिया-८ भिङ्डवार गाउँका दलितहरूमाथि गरिएको आक्रमणमा संलग्न दोषीलाई कारबाहीको माग राख्दै सिंहदरबार हनुमानस्थानमा धर्ना दिएका छन् । दलित नागरिक समाजद्वारा जेठ २८ गते आयोजित सो धर्ना कार्यक्रमले दलितहरूमाथि भएको आक्रमणको निन्दा गर्दै दोषीउपर कडाभन्दा कडा कारबाहीको माग राखेका छ । साथै पीडितलाई तत्काल अति आवश्यक भौतिक सामग्रीहरू उपलब्ध गराउनुपर्ने, उनीहरूको जीवन सुरक्षासहित उचित क्षतिपूर्तिको व्यवस्था गरिनुपर्ने, घाइते पीडितहरूको उपचार व्यवस्था राज्यले गर्नुपर्ने र दिर्घकालीन रूपमा जातीय छुवाछुत तथा भेदभाव अन्त्यका लागि छानविन समिति गठन गरी उचित समाधानको निति अवलम्बन गनुपर्ने माग सरकारसमक्ष दलित नागरिक समाजले राखेको दलित गैरसरकारी संस्था महासंघ नेपालका अध्यक्ष गजाधर सुनारले बताए । धर्ना कार्यक्रममा इन्सेक क्षेत्रीय मध्यामाञ्चल संयोजक कृष्ण गौतम, दलित गैरसरकारी संस्था महासंघ नेपालका अध्यक्ष गजाधर सुनार, जागरण नेपालका दुर्गा सोभ, अधिकारकर्मी विनोद चौधरी लगायतका अधिकारकर्मीहरूको सहभागीता रहेको थियो । विवेक ढुङ्गा
