An explosive has been exploded in front of the house of recommended UML mayor candidate Muni Shah for Lahan Municipality. Shah said that there was an explosion immediately after he reached house after the day long election campaign. The bomb was planted in a plastic box and there was no physical or human loss in the explosion according to Shah. He added, the objective of the explosion is to terrifying locals before election. According to DSP Hira Bahadur Pandey of Area Police Office of Lahan, police have been mobilized in the incident site after the incident. The motive behind the explosion is not known yet and the investigation is undergoing. National Human Rights Commission, Janakpur and INSEC regional Office of Biratnagar has initiated joint monitoring of the incident on September 6.
