A man has died after being beaten by a person in drunken stupor in Bajhang on Sunday. The deceased identified as 35-year-old Jhimkire Sarki of Chhabbis Pathivera rural municipality-3 was beaten to death by 28-year-old Amar Bahadur Sarki of the same place on Sunday night after they ran into a dispute. Jhimkire died on the way while he was being taken home by his relatives. The reason behind the dispute between the two men is yet not known. Police are further investigating on the incident by holding Amar Bahadur into custody. The deceased's body has been sent to district hospital for post-mortem. छबीस पाथीभेरा गाउँपालिकामा रक्सी खाएर कुटपिट गर्दा एक जनाको ज्यान गएको छ । छबीस पाथीभेरा गाउँपालिका वडा नम्बर ३ का अम्मरबहादुर सार्कीले रक्सी खाएर कुटपिट गर्दा त्यहीँका ३५ वर्षका झिमकिरे सार्कीको ज्यान गएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । आइबार राति दुईजनाबिच विवाद हुँदा २८ वर्षका अम्मरले छिमेकी झिमकीरेलाई कुटपिट गरी घाइते बनाएका थिए । रातको समय ठेला खोलामा रक्सी खाएर अम्मरले झिमकीरेलाई कुटपिट गरेको स्थानीय बासिन्दाले बताएका छन् । मरणासन्न हुने गरी कुटपिट गरेपछि झिमकीरे सार्कीका आफन्तले उनलाई बोकेर अम्मरको घरमा लग्दै गर्दा बाटोमा नै ज्यान गएको हो । के कारणले विवाद तथा झगडा भएको हो ? भन्ने एकीन भइनसकेको र अनुसन्धान जारी रहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यलयले जनाएको छ । शव पोष्टमाटमका लागि जिल्ला अस्पतालमा ल्याइएको छ । अमरबहादुरलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ ।
