Newly elected Chairperson of Duduwa rural municipality Narendra Chaudhary (Pappu) has threatened a victim family to withdraw a murder case against him. The victim family made public the incident in Nepalgunj and pleaded for justice in front of the journalists present. 2 persons were killed in Duduwa rural municipality in 2066 /12/30 B.S. during a clash that ensued following a dispute in consumer's committee formed for the construction of a local road. The District Court of Banke had announced life sentence to Narendra Chaudhary Pappu on the charge of being involved in the murder. Former prime minister Sushil Koirala had given Amnesty to Pappu by making the case political. डुडुवा गाउपालिका अध्यक्ष्य नरेन्द्र चौधरी पप्पुलेले हत्याको मुद्धा फिर्ता लिन दबाब दिंदै धम्क्याउने गरेको पिडित पक्ष्यले गुनासो गरेका छन् । पत्रकार सम्मेलन गर्दै पिडित परिवारले आफुँहरुलाई न्याय दिलाईदिन अनुरोध समेत गरे । डुडुवा गाउँपालिका-२ मा २००६६ साल चैत ३० गते स्थानीय सडक निर्माणको सम्बन्धमा बनेको उपभोक्ता समितिमा भएको बिबादमा २ जनाको हत्या भएको थियो । सो हत्याको मुद्धामा गाउँपालिका अध्यक्ष्य चौधरीलाई दोषी ठहर गर्दै जिल्ला अदालत बाँकेले सर्वस्व सहित जन्मकैद सुनाएको थियो । जन्मकैदको सजाय पाएका चौधरीलाई तत्कालिन प्रधानमन्त्री सुशील कोइरालाले राजनीतिक मुद्धा बनाएर आममाफी दिएका थिए ।
