A time bomb was found near the Bridge at Triyuga River in Saptakoshi Municipality, Saptari on Thursday. The explosive was defused by a Nepali Army team deployed from Shree Bhim Dalgun. Locals informed the police after they saw a suspicious object wrapped in a black plastic bag. The NA team took the bomb to the banks of the river and defused it. Police said the inject was planted by an armed group with the aim of affecting the upcoming civic polls. Further investigation is on, police said.
