Kathmandu/ June 20 Raj Kumar Maharjan, 50, and his wife Pārbati Shah, 45, of Kirtipur Municipality-4 and currently living in Thankot VDC-8, have been arrested by the Metropolitan Police Circle Kalimati on June 19 on charge of raping a-15-year-old girl. According to the victim, she has kept by the couple as domestic help on June 7 and was raped by Raj Kumar a day later. Medical check-up of the victim was conducted in maternity hospital at Thapathali on June 19. The report is yet to come out, according to the police. The victim said that Raj Kumar raped her forcefully with "consent" from his wife. The victim’s mother lodged an FIR against the accused at police office on June 20. The accused admitted the crime saying that he raped the girl with the intention that she would get used to sexual abuse which would help his business in the hotel to grow, according to the police. The accused will be charged under rape, said SI Hari Singh Dhami of Kalimati police. Bibek Dhungana काठमाडौँ । ०७० असार ६ गते एक १५ वर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार गरेको अरोपमा काठमाडौँ कीर्तिपुर नपा-४ घर भइ हाल थानकोट गाविस-८ बस्ने ५० वर्षीय राजकुमार महर्जन र पत्नी ४५ वर्षीया पार्वती साह महर्जनलाई महानगरीय प्रहरी वृत कालिमाटीले असार ५ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित बालिकालाई जेठ २४ गते घरेलु श्रमिकको रूपमा राखेकोमा जेठ २५ गते राति आरोपित महर्जनले आफूलाई बलात्कार गरेको पीडितले बताइन् । पीडित बालिकाको असार ५ गते नै थापाथलीस्थित प्रसुति गृहमा उपचार गराइएको छ । स्वास्थ्य प्रतिवेदन भने आउन बाँकी रहेको प्रहरीले जनाएकोछ । आरोपित राजकुमारले पत्नी पार्वतीको मिलोमतोमा आफूलाई करकापमा पारी बलात्कार गरेको पीडितले जनाइन् । पीडितकी आमाले आजै कालिमाटी प्रहरी वृतमा सो घटनाको जाहेरी दिएकी छिन् । "थानकोटमा होटल रहेको कारण पीडित बालिकालाई अहिले देखिनै यौन क्रियाकलापमा संलग्न गराउँदा बालिकालाई बानी पर्ने हुन्छ र मेरो ग्राहक बढ्छ भन्ने सोचले मैले बलात्कार गरेको हुँ, भनी आरोपित राजकुमार महर्जनले बयानको क्रममा स्वीकार गरेको कालिमाटी प्रहरी स्रोतले जनायो । आरोपितहरूले मूलुकी ऐनको जबरजस्तीकरणी महलको १ नम्बर विपरीत कार्य गरेको हुनाले उनीहरूलाई जबरजस्तीकरणी सम्बन्धी मुद्दा दायर गरिने कालिमाटी प्रहरी वृत मुद्दा शाखाका सई हरिसिंह धामीले बताए । विवेक ढुङ्गाना
